Chinese Developments in Global Minimum Tax Implementation

Whilst China is a signatory to the October 2021 Statement on a Two-Pillar Solution, domestic implementation of the Global Minimum Tax (GMT) has been slow. However, this doesn’t mean that China has been silent on the GMT introduction.

On February 17, 2023, a consultation issued by the Chinese Ministry of Finance ended (see links below).
