On June 30, 2023, Japan’s Ministry of Finance issued Ministry of Finance Ordinance No. 47 of 2023 Amending the Enforcement Regulations of the Corporation Tax Act.
This follows the Cabinet Order to Amend the Enforcement Order of the Corporation Tax Act on June 16, 2023.
Various aspects of Act No. 3/2023 (the Japanese Law to implement Pillar 2) and the Cabinet Order delegate aspects of the application of the GloBE rules to an Ordinance of the Ministry of Finance. This latest Ordinance therefore fills in many of gaps.
